How to maintain a lathe

First, disassemble and clean the various parts of the felt pad; Wipe the sliding surface and guide rail surface of the ordinary lathe, wipe the table and transverse and lifting screws, wipe the tool drive mechanism and tool holder.

Second, regular lubricating oil holes clean and smooth, and fill lubricating oil; Lubricate each guide and sliding surface and each screw; Check the transmission tank, oil level and oil level to oil level rise position.

Third, tighten the fasteners of the ordinary lathe, check and tighten the pressure plate and insert screws; Check and tighten the slider fixing screw, tool drive mechanism, handwheel, table support screw; Check that screws on other parts of the button are loose.

Fourth, check and adjust the tightness of the belt, pressure plate and plug-in; Check and adjust the alignment of the slider and screw.

Fifth, remove the rust in all parts, protect the paint surface, do not collide; Deactivation and spare equipment rails, sliding screw handwheels and exposed parts prone to rust.
